Mom called. Granny C passed away peacefully in her sleep early this morning. I know that we all have to go eventually and this was the best exit any of us can hope for, and I appreciate that it is a blessing for a tired out soul, but I gotta tell you I'm gonna miss my Granny something fierce. She was the coolest person you ever wanted to meet! Kind, compasionate, funny, the world's best cinnimon bun maker, occasionally stubborn, always loving, adventurous.... you know, she went barnstorming once when she was a teenager? Her and her sister, wedged into one seat - what a blast that must've been! I am searching out a biplane pilot in my neck of the woods to take me up on a flight in the Spring to honor my Granny.
She taught me that life is to live, to enjoy! I want to lead a full, fun, useful, happy-most-of-the-time life just like Granny. I encourage everyone to get up, reach out and do something that you might be afraid of doing, or something you enjoy but you've been putting off, or something that you might not want to do but it would mean alot to someone you care about. Grab life! Live and forgive!
Hugs and hums*,

* "Hugs and hums" is something Granny and I would always do at hello and goodbye, but then some of you already knew that.
